Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Test is a national-level management entrance examination, conducted by Symbiosis International Deemed University (SIU). SNAP test scores are valid for admission to 15 institutes under SIU. The scores are also valid for admission to various other MBA or equivalent courses.
Candidates aspiring to join MBA / MSc (CA) / MSc (SS) programmes offered by institutes of Symbiosis International University have to take the common, mandatory Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Online Test. A candidate needs to register for SNAP Test & also register for the institutes offering his/ her choice of programmes by paying separate programmes registration fees. If shortlisted, he/she would then need to attend the GE-PIWAT process conducted by each of these institutes individually.
The registration process for SNAP and institutes is now simplified. Aspirants can now complete the SNAP as well as program registrations in the same portal
This year, the authorities have moved away with the conventional pen-paper based exam and have introduced the exam in an online mode. Since the exam’s inception in the year 2007, this is the first time that it will be conducted in a computer-based mode.
SNAP 2017 registrations began on Aug 22, 2017, and the last date to apply for the exam is Nov 24, 2017. SNAP Test has been scheduled for Dec 17, 2017.
SNAP is a two-hour duration (from 2 pm to 4 pm) exam and is conducted in 102 cities all over India.
Every year, the admission team of SCMHRD conducts an interactive session ‘SNAP IT’ in 15 cities and 17 locations of India for the MBA aspirants to address all the issues aspirants may face during exam preparation. Last year, SNAP IT was held on December 10 and 11, 2016. The discussion includes recent changes in the exam pattern (if any), and ways to tackle them. Also, the focus is laid on the key aspects of the interview and group discussions where members of SCMHRD share their personal experience. In the session, the aspirants are provided a general perspective to other exams as well.
